So here are 3 specific reasons why your website is losing you sales and how to fix them…

So number 3 is…

3. You think more traffic equals more sales

Paid advertising campaigns and search engine optimisation, or SEO for short, are an important part of getting more traffic to your website…

So you’d think getting more traffic by its self is the key to getting more sales, right? Well…

Wrong!

There’s a second critical factor that’s involved in being successful online…

…and that’s conversions! So…

A conversion is the ability to get a website visitor or prospect to take your desired action.

Such as, give you their email address or phone number.

And without a solid website sales strategy in place to convert website visitors into sales your throwing money down the drain.

DON’T keep on spending more and more money on only Facebook Ads, SEO and Google Ads.

There’s no point driving traffic to a leaky bucket after all. But…

DO make getting found with a paid advertising campaign and search engine optimisation part of your overall website marketing strategy…

But make sure you plan and implement a conversion focused website design and sales funnel that will capture and convert your website visitors into leads, sales and revenue.

So number 2 is…

2. You’re not giving your web visitors a reason to get in contact with you

So your website is nothing more than a cute online brochure if you haven’t figured out ways to get your website visitor’s email address…

…and then provide them with a compelling reason to call or do business with you.

Specific and irresistible lead magnets such as templates, checklists and cheat sheets are a great way to get your website visitors contact details.

And then, immediately offer them a conversion tool such as a free consultation, a discounted trial or an introductory product or service.

This will get them talking to you and to know, like and trust you.

DON’T waste your time and money on a website that lets visitors come and go without any potential sales interaction.

DO increase your website’s potential return on investment by giving away valuable tools that demonstrate your expertise and competence.

So number 1 is…

1. You’re forgetting to invest time into building relationships

So people don’t always buy the first time they come into contact with you…

But that doesn’t mean they’re not interested.

In fact, if often just means they need a little bit more time and convincing.

Time to get to know you and more about you do.

And that’s where you use the email address that your prospect gave you to nurture your relationship with a series of automated emails that provide your prospect with value.

Make sure you DON’T blame a shortage of time, writer’s block or any other excuse for you not implementing this proven and highly effective sales tool.

DO… take the time to get your content, such as frequently asked questions, testimonials and links to articles correct…

…and make sure you use language that resonates with your ideal client so you can convert their initial interest into sales.
